Omni AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a solo-developer project that provides an AI-powered mental-health application and related services (“Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Data – name, email address, Apple ID identifier.
- Content You Provide – chat transcripts, mood logs, voice notes, journal entries (may include special-category health data).
- Analytics & Device Data – device ID, IP address, interaction events, and crash logs.
- Payment Metadata – purchase identifiers and subscription status via Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat (no full card data).
2. Legal Bases
- Consent – explicit consent for special-category health data (GDPR Art 9).
- Contract – to provide and bill for subscription features you request.
- Legal Obligation & Vital Interests – to comply with law or protect life and safety.
3. How We Use Information
- Deliver personalised AI therapy support.
- Monitor, debug, and improve performance and security of the Services.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Sharing & International Transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted processors under contractual safeguards:
- OpenAI LLC – natural-language processing.
- Amazon Web Services – secure cloud hosting.
- RevenueCat Inc. – subscription management.
- Apple Inc. – in-app purchase processing.
When data leaves Canada, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent measures to ensure protection comparable to PIPEDA.
5. Security Measures
All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Production access requires multi-factor authentication and role-based controls.
6. Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we erase personal data within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or delete your data.
- Export a copy of your data (portability).
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Opt out of analytics or marketing communications.

8. Children’s Privacy
Omni AI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
